More Yoga for Knotted Knitters: Upper Body. This class will expand on the information you learned in our introductory workshop. Learn simple moves that can help you take care of parts of your body that work so hard for you as you craft. Your neck, shoulders, back, arms, and, of course, hands will be grateful for the attention. Bring your knitting and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. We will practice yoga in chairs and while standing - no mat, equipment, or experience is necessary. You will leave this workshop with appreciation for your knitter’s body and a handout with exercises that will help you keep it healthy. Register here.

We hope that by June will will be able to leave our homes and enjoy each other's company without worry. That will mean that we can meet at this Yoga for Knotted Knitters Introductory Workshop! This workshop will explain how spending time at our crafts (knitting, crocheting, quilting, and the like) can negatively affect our bodies, and demonstrate how simple, gentle yoga can compensate for these effects. Bring your knitting and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. We will practice yoga in chairs and while standing - no mat, equipment, or experience is necessary! You will leave this workshop with a new understanding of how yoga can ease the stiffness and pain that often follow a knitting session. Register here.
